How You Can Help Move the Issue Forward

As witnessed in Texas, South Carolina and Florida, parents are the key to passing school start date legislation.  If you are interested in helping move the issue forward please consider one or more of the following items:

 1. Call your state representative and state senator and explain to them how the early-August school start dates are hurting your family.  Ask him/her to support a later school start date for all Alabama public schools.

2. Write a letter to the editor and send it to your local paper.
